PABX Functionality
The VoIPCortex IP PBX offers a high level of functionality included as standard. This functionality promotes greater flexibility and efficiency, both in terms of productivity and cost.
With a low total cost of ownership the VoIPCortex IP PBX demonstrates real value, allowing organisations to explore new ways of working without spending more to do so.
E-mail and web based access to voicemails. This facilitates simplified management of voicemails, with access from anywhere to promote flexible working.
Unlimited soft fax destinations and fax to email. Receive faxes in a digital format to any number of email addresses to access them from both within and outside of the office. Store faxes digitally to allow backups to be taken and have the freedom to work towards a paperless office.
Auto attendant with full customisation. Use auto attendant menu functionality to direct calls efficiently to reduce receptionist workload - or to avoid having a receptionist at all.
Music on hold. Upload custom sound files for callers to listen to.
Hot desking interface. This allows users to take their phone configurations with them by typing in their access PIN at any pre-assigned handset. Perfect for organisations where not every worker has their own desk - such as remote workers or roaming sales people who occasionally work from the office.
Pickup groups. Allows a user to pick up a colleagues phone call from their own handset by pressing *8. Particularly useful for teams who work closely together, ensuring that an important call is never missed.
Conference bridge. With conference bridge functionality included on even the most basic models.
Remote working. With suitable network connectivity, users of the system can work as though in the office from anywhere - enabling a more flexible workforce and providing the tools necessary to increaseproductivity.
Free internal and inter-office calls with suitable network connectivity. This can make a huge difference to the monthly phone bill, and isn’t solely important for multi site implementations.
